The Seattle-based startup Zipwhip has brewed together an espresso machine that makes a cup with just a text message using their cloud texting service.

The project took around three months and consists of nearly 300 parts including the machine itself, which is a Jura Impressa XS90, as well as a Canon iP 3600 printer with edible ink to personalize the foam of the coffee with a name or phone number.

Zipwhip does not plan on mass producing them, but they will eventually post more information and specs on how to build your very own.

Check out the video by KOMO News to see it in action and hear Zipwhip’s CEO John Lauer explain how it demonstrates their service.
